Delhi MCD Elections 2017: At a Arvind Kejriwal rally's when people chanted Modi, Modi

New Delhi : Ahead of the Delhi MCD polls, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was greeted with chants of 'Modi, Modi' by a group of men Saturday who tried to protest his rallies in northeast Delhi and Gautam Vihar Chowk in the south.

Kejriwal said, "If by shouting PM's name, demands are met, even I am willing to say, 'Modi, Modi'". He continued his diatribe saying, "'Modi, Modi' karne se pet nahi bharta. (Shouting PM's name will not ensure square meals for you.)" He even said some people had gone mad in their love for Modi.

Kejriwal, who was campaigning for his party ahead of the municipal polls in Delhi, was repeatedly getting interrupted by the cries of 'Modi, Modi' from certain sections of the audience.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday urged the Election Commission to investigate cases of "faulty" EVMs and ascertain if their software can be tweaked "in favour of the BJP".

Kejriwal met Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi and also demanded ballot papers be reintroduced in the country.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also promised that if voted to power, AAP will make Delhi clean within a year and will also resolve all the issues of the non-payment of the salaries of the corporation workers.
