ICMAI to Present INSCOST Framework for Cost Governance in Indian Insurance Sector

New Delhi : The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will present the “INSCOST – Cost Management, Cost Governance, Cost Disclosure & Cost Assurance Framework for the Indian Insurance Sector”, a sector-specific framework aimed at strengthening cost management, transparency and governance in the insurance industry.
The First Edition, 2026 of INSCOST provides guidance on cost management, governance, disclosure and assurance, with sector-specific perspectives for Life, General, Health, Reinsurance and Public-Sector insurers.
The event will be attended by CMA Chittaranjan Chattopadhyay, President, ICMAI, along with senior ICMAI representatives, insurance professionals, Cost and Management Accountants and other industry stakeholders.
The presentation comes amid the sector’s evolving regulatory landscape, including the IRDAI Public Consultation Paper on “Reforms for Recalibrating Economics of Insurance Distribution” issued on September 23, 2026.
