Five more coronavirus suspects admitted to Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad

Hyderabad : Five more suspects of being a coronavirus victim have been admitted to Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad, taking the toll to 123 of coronavirus suspects. 73 of the 123 cases are self-reported and are under observation at various isolation wards.
The remaining 50 people were referred by the Government of India or the Airport Health Organisation (APHO). A total of 17 people were put under home isolation on Friday as well.
Meanwhile the staff, hired from Osmania and Niloufer hospitals, is going under a rigorous training to combat the case of coronavirus. A senior doctor from Gandhi Hospital’s Microbiology department said, “They are trained for around eight hours a day — four in the morning and four in the evening.â€
The hospital official also confirmed that all the Chinese nationals were tested and the result came negative. “However, we will continue to monitor them for a couple of more days,†the official added.
