Global Peace & Economic Summit: US speaker Mike Johnson to join Dr. KA Paul and leaders from around the world
Washington : U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson will attend the Global Peace & Economic Summit as Chief Guest on September 23, joining leaders and representatives from all over the World for an international initiative focused on ending 58 wars and promoting global peace.
Led by Dr. K. A. Paul, Founder of the Global Peace Initiative, the summit will take place at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, D.C., from 6 pm to 9 pm. The gathering aims to bring together political leaders, business representatives and peace advocates to encourage international cooperation and humanitarian action.
Dr. K. A. Paul, recognised for his global Peace and humanitarian work, has spent 4 decades building international networks focused on charitable service, peace advocacy and community outreach. As an International Peacemaker and President of several charitable organisations he continues to promote dialogue and cooperation across religious, cultural and national boundaries.
His involvement in large-scale 100’s of millions gathered for peace rallies in 155 Countries in the past 45 years , including Promise Keepers events in the United States, reflects his longstanding experience in mobilising communities around shared causes. Through the Global Peace Initiative he trained 21 million lay leaders for public participation in peacebuilding and encourage people to become active partners in the movement.
The summit comes amid continuing armed conflicts and humanitarian challenges in different parts of the world. Dr. K. A. Paul is organising the summit to create a platform where participants can raise awareness of the consequences of war and support peaceful approaches to resolving international disputes.
With the theme of collective action beyond caste, creed and religion, Dr. K. A. Paul is inviting people from diverse backgrounds to participate in a shared call for peace and humanitarian responsibility.
The event will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Capitol Hilton Hotel , Washington, D.C.
