New Delhi : For any election, the most crucial part for any candidate is filing his nomination. They say it is important to run for campaign and it got real for one of the BJP Lok Sabha candidates from Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria as he was seen sprinting for about 100 metres to file nomination papers. Video of the incident is now getting viral on social media.

Shashank Mani Tripathi Was printing for about 100 meters as he was about to miss deadline to file nomination which was supposed to end by 3:00 PM on Thursday.

According to reports, he got late as he was busy attending a program that was organised before his nomination and was addressed by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya.

The event got delayed, and he had only 15 minutes left to file his nomination. To ensure his timely arrival, he decided to run to the nomination centre with BJP District President Bhupendra Singh and other leaders accompanying him.

"Runner since college days"

After filing the nomination papers, he interacted with the media and said that he was a runner during college days and today he used his skill to file the nomination.
